Dear Customer,
Unfortunately we are still experiencing some delays in delivery in particular regions around the country. This is a result of the ongoing volume increases. Parcel numbers through our Network have increased by more than 70% over the last few weeks, due to the move online by many consumers as a direct result of the Covid-19 shopping restrictions, and also the increased deliveries to health and hospital locations to support patient care.

This increase is from our existing customers – we did not take any new customers since early March as we wanted to ensure that we could provide support to our current customers. In order to service these huge volumes, we have already established more than 300 new routes within the DPD Network and will continue to recruit and train new Team Members over the coming weeks.

We know that these delays are inconvenient and difficult for your own customers to understand, but please bear with us as we continue to resource up. It is a huge challenge for any business to deal with such a large volume increase in such a short space of time, and so unexpectedly.

Many areas of the country are experiencing no delays at all, but some deliveries are delayed by up to 3-5 days in the following areas: 

We are doing our best to ensure that delivery is being managed as efficiently as possible in each of these locations. Please ensure that you let your own customers know that delays may be experienced and that they will receive their Predict One Hour Delivery Window Text and/or Email on the day of delivery.

Orders below £75 +vat will incur a £4 (+ vat) shipping charge.
